The grapes come from the historic Lispida vineyard, where it is documented that the first Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon vineyard in Italy was planted, directly imported in 1870 from the Bordeaux area of France, thanks to Count Corinaldi, who cultivated it on his estate in the Euganean Hills.

Today, the La Costa company manages these ancient and historic vineyards, from which a superb wine is obtained.

Once ripe, the grapes are manually harvested in crates and transported to the cellar, where they are destemmed and fermented in steel tanks for 15-20 days depending on the vintage. After racking, the wine is stored in cement tanks to better stabilize and clean itself. At the beginning of the new year, a few rackings are made and the wine is filtered, bottled and left in the bottle for a few months.
